The Post Restaurant Bar - Modesto

Fantastic! I wish I had discovered this restaurant earlier. I really wish it were open on weekends, as it would be the perfect place for family traditions like birthdays and anniversaries.

On November 4, 2022, I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was fantastic, and the food was delicious, especially the Chicken Marsala and Cioppino with wine. It's truly a hidden gem!

This was my fourth time dining here. The first time was when my wife and I got married in 2011. Each experience has been wonderful. Today, I ordered a classic French dip sandwich with garlic fries, and the flavors were incredible! For drinks, I had a hard cider and ice water with lemon. The atmosphere is just as beautiful as I remember, if not better. The service was outstanding; everyone was very friendly. For dessert, I tried the fried cheesecake, and it was simply amazing! I highly recommend saving room for dessert, as the fried cheesecake is a must-try. The portion sizes are also generous!

Came here in an unfortunate day with my family (including a newborn) and service was terrible!!! Our waitress was so bad. We're almost gone.

The food is amazing. The chefs know what they're doing! The staff is great and friendly. Also the property is gorgeous! Huge place, beautiful plants everywhere and lovely large back patio!
