Bidra med feedbackThree stars for the location and the actual physical restaurant. It's located near a park and a large gazebo. The view is lovely. Inside, the restaurant is warm, cozy and relaxing. We had a lunch reservation for 6 people, which became 4 people. They were flexible and didn't ask us to move to a smaller table. If they had, we would have understood. The place was packed by the time we were finished eating. The menu is somewhat limited. I ordered the lamb filet in a cranberry sauce with rosemary potatoes. They also served a brothy soup, which was very good and some kind of a cabbage on the side, which I didn't favor. It took a very long time for our food to come. They forgot to bring some of the drinks. We had to remind them. My lamb was okay. There was quite a bit of fat and it was a bit overcooked. It wasn't the higher-quality lamb that I'm accustomed to, but it was edible. The cranberry sauce was delicious and the rosemary potatoes were cooked to perfection. Parking is on the street and sparse. I highly recommend arriving when they open and definitely make a reservation. €58 for two lunch entreés (included soup or salad and quark for dessert), a cola and a bottle of water. A bit pricey for the quality of food.
I was there with my parents, had a Rumpsteak medium rare ordered Rumpsteak came completely deadly. When I was complaining, the waitress came with half a new rag steak, which had also been fried dead and already bathed in herbal butter, it was probably on another plate. I'll never enter this place again.

My friend and I were unfortunately very disappointed by the inn at the Schmölderpark. We rarely go out to eat and decided to try something new and read the menu on the internet in advance. Since I'm a vegetarian, I was very happy to see the vegetable run I discovered there. On site we had to find out that this card was completely outdated and there was no one vegetarian dish. We then decided to leave the restaurant after a glass of beer and go where we were both found, but the service staff were unaware. You could have asked if I had a bit of vegetables. I think that in today's time you should be able to offer at least three vegetarian dishes and if that is not the case, then at least keep the online presence up to date. I don't sit in a restaurant, make sure that the menu doesn't offer me anything and then ask for something else. If the inn at the Schmölderpark doesn't want to get vegetarian customers, that's their decision. It is mine to look for a restaurant that meets my expectations. For meat-loaded home cooking and especially for older cohorts, it seems very nice to be there.
We were there on Sunday at noon. The service was very attentive and friendly, the food was very tasty. There was also a soup and a dessert, which are served standard on Sundays and holidays at no extra cost. Again...
