Gopal's Sweets & Restaurant - Mohali

We went for lunch here, six of us. Idlis were cold and underdone, dark brown medu vadas and raw inside. Cholle was ok but lacked salt and not upto the mark (spice wise). First if all the food takes too long to come and there...are way too many people working in the kitchen. There is no supervision at all. The floor supervisor was busy watching the match on TV while there was a lot of commotion in the kitchen and every one seemed to be busy, some were cooking at their own pace, the idlis were handled with bare hands after scratching his head, some were busy talking on the phone and more were busy in personal small talk. Nobody seemed bothered about the customers waiting impatiently for their food. In today's world when people have become conscious about health and hygiene, here it all went for a toss. It takes a lot of hard work to build a reputation for yourself but all this effort can go down the drain if not consistently followed. Gopal sweets was very good once upon a time a few months ago but now alas it has gone down drastically.

Good sweets shop but just about ok restaurant...quite expensive ..just two rotis, one mixed veg and salt lassi costed Taste is ok .Self service and hence fast. Good hygiene

Just came here without any expectation for a breakfast at morning Food was good and filled our stomach. Finally ordered a cup of coffee even though our stomach was already full. Pricing was very cheap.

Variety is good but only a few things are good in taste so be specific while ordering, cleanliness was average as you can see flies in kitchen and in eating area which is not acceptable. and reg sweets its a good place.

Gopal's Sweets & Restaurant proivde Verity of food Options. The quality of food is good and pricing is also genuine. It's located right there on the main busy highway.
