Taste Of Tuscany - Monaghan

We loved the food at this restaurant, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The prices were very reasonable, and the waiter was friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is located on the second floor, with a lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff. There is no irritating music playing, making for a quiet dining experience. While the menu may not make this place seem like a typical Italian restaurant, the dishes are delicious and diverse. The prices are also quite reasonable. We enjoyed the generous portion of deep fried mushrooms as a starter, and the sea bass was also quite tasty. We ended our meal with a coffee, which may not be traditional Italian fare, but it was still a pleasant dinner overall.

I have visited this restaurant several times. The food is consistently delicious. The portion sizes are huge (I always order too much, but the staff are happy to pack up leftovers for takeaway). The atmosphere is quiet and calm. The staff are lovely. Overall, it is a great little restaurant to have in Monaghan Town. It never disappoints.

The lovely Restauran Great selection on menu But it goes down hill rapidly after these two positives Waitress Chewing gum Waitress having her break in a bouth next to out table and watching videos on her phone, Bottled water not chilled Wine Glasses not polished No trays been use to serve side orders drinks , coffee's from all carried by hand, We weren't informed about the special until we spotted then on the board when paying the bill We both ordered Brie which very cover cooked on the outside and still hard in the middle, I had tagliatelle with chicken for main course looked lovely but had no taste and was very bland my partner had the sea bass the skin was very crispy and fish was very dry and very over cooked not one during our meal where we asked was everything ok or would you like anything else, the only time we saw a waitress was when they were clearing or taking food to our table, where out table was obviously it was on the way to the staff toilets, chefs and staff coming back and forward pass us through out our meal just didn't show a professional atmosphere This restaurant would have great potential if the minor things where sorted

All the containers for our food tonight was eco friendly. This is such a great decision by the restaurant Lovely food, massive portions and no guilt re environment We'll be back
