What a hidden gem! We enjoyed the kids' pho with meatballs, a combo pho featuring brisket, eye of round, and meatballs, as well as a shrimp salad and grilled chicken vermicelli (which is more like banh hoi). The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. During my last visit, I rang the bell as instructed by the sign, but the server came out from the back looking quite upset with me for doing so. She informed me that she was busy cooking and managing everything on her own, which left me wondering how I was supposed to know that. She told me to sit and wait, but all the tables were dirty. She quickly cleared one for me, but it seemed like she was overwhelmed and didn't have time for another customer, so I decided to leave shortly after. However, on the occasions when I've dined there when they had enough staff, the food has been absolutely delicious. I often recommend this place, so I was disappointed by the feeling of being treated like an inconvenience.
