Bidra med feedbackWe used to go to Zests local pizza shop but they have changed hands and they are shocking. Tried Hughesdale Pizza and have not looked back great service, great prices and importantly great food. Try the supreme, magnificent, we have a pizza from here every Friday night.
I lived near here and definitely the best anywhere. Crispy, so much on it as height as a cake, definitely not stingy with topping. Owned , run and worked by an Italian family. There are "best pizzas in Melbourne awards" year after year. If you ever get to try one of these pizzas , nothing else will ever match it.
These guys do great pizza at a really great price, very friendly and fast service. We've had pizzas here many times and no complaints.
I ordered a pizza in a cold, wintery night and was happy to have them for dinner. unfortunately it wasn't the best pizza. the basic was extremely thin without substance and the pizza was quite dry. they had jumped to the sauce. I would not return to this pizza place and must find another local kitchen. hughesdale pizza was “the way” but no longer.
In the evening boxing day 2017 the speed from the order to the delivery was good. the vegetarian pizza tasted quite nice, but it was lacking in ingredients and could not even be close to the crust on sharing the pizza. the Calamari rings with chips. and salat was well below average for the price. the calamari was obviously frozen (no big problem,) but the texture of the calamari was a mint slurry, this is the best way I can describe it. the oil that the chips have cooked is well overdue for an oil change, as you can see through the photos that these chips should probably not have left the kitchen, we have dried the chips into the container. the salate was blande, it was made with comminuted iceberg salad with tomato and a dressing. it was certainly not worth $17.50 for, it is well overpriced and is not restaurant quality as reflected by the price. as part of the time that hughesdale lives, I have tried many of the restaurants in the opposite and there is no lack of pizza shops in which I tried, unfortunately, this sits at the bottom of my list. Maybe it's best to stick to the pizza and forget about the 'Fish N chips. ' south melbourne'
