Grotto - Moncton

I don't even know where to begin with this restaurant - the food, the staff, the atmosphere, the drinks, the desserts, and oh my goodness, the staff! They clearly love what they do, with big smiles on their faces and excellent interaction with customers. They truly make the dining experience top-notch.

Our family was vacationing in the Maritimes and had a stop in Moncton. We stumbled into GUSTO and were immediately impressed with the staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated in short order. The ambiance was cozy but also good for groups. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! We swung by Moncton again on the way back to Toronto just to have dinner at GUSTO again.

We stopped in tonight for dinner and due to the late hour, we thought we would have a tough time finding a 'nice' restaurant. The 'earthy Italian' atmosphere was very welcoming and we'll be back. Our server explained that it gets crazy busy and we actually missed the rush. My pasta dish was very tasty and my husband's steak was top-rated. We didn't have room to endulge in the huge selection of cheesecakes/cakes, but will have to make that a priority to return just for a nice dessert date. Good value for your dollar.

For just $13.99 We had an amazing Bruschetta, i had chicken parmesan and strawberry salad. both were very good. my husband had the soup, delicious but not quite hot enough and the sicilian sandwich which is a pass, not great seafood on a white bun. But the place has great atmosphere. the radio music playing was a bit loud though, not sure what it would be like as a dinner experience

This was the best restaurant experience of our entire 9 day vacation. It had everything you would want: atmosphere, charm, wonderful service and most of all, excellent food.
