Galley Grill - Monroe County

Good brunch food. I am surprised that they have such an extensive gluten free menu, that is nice to see! The Belgian waffle with strawberries was good, and the steak and mushroom sandwich. I had a traditional egg and bacon plate. Glad we stopped her on our route to key west. Only thing I disliked is having only 1 bathroom stall and it’s outside the restaurant. Vegetarian options: For sure you could have waffles, pancakes, eggs and toast, fruit and they have a granola and yogurt option. Gross waitresses at this place. I ordered a simple BLT and fries which were very dry. The waitresses gave me an attitude. I asked to speak with the owners who I know, and the waitress claimed that She was the owner! I left promptly and will never come back. All I can say is that I prefer the Cafe on Big Pine now. The Cafe has much better food and more polite waitresses. You know a fifth generation conch knows where the best food is! I have commercially fished and dove tropical fish for twenty nine years, so I have supplied many of these restaurants with seafood. The Cafe has delicious mahi mahi and crab cakes as well.
