Thai Tamarind - Monroe

This restaurant serves the best Indian cuisine, with a wide range of flavors that set it apart from other mediocre Indian restaurants. Tamarind showcases creativity and aroma, making each dish unique and delicious. Guests are encouraged to order at least 2, if not 3, entrees as each one is amazing. The only downside is that the portion sizes are somewhat small for the prices. However, the quality of the food is so good that it is worth splurging on. The Basmati rice even has Cumin seeds in it, which may not be for everyone, but they are willing to accommodate special requests. Overall, this restaurant offers a truly exceptional dining experience.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. There were some dishes I had never seen at Indian restaurants in Charlotte before. We tried two appetizers, four entrees, and the garlic naan. My favorites were the Gobi Appetizer, saag huhn, and lamb tamarind. The garlic naan was also the best I've had. The service was excellent as well.
