Bidra med feedbackRibs were absolutely delicious. Plethora of hot sauces to mess around with. (House made spicy sauce is incredible)
My husband and I got the pork belly burnt ends and brisket with a side of Mac and cheese and corn bread. Among all of this, the Mac and cheese was the weakest but that doesn't mean much given that it was still amazing. The corn bread was incredibly moist and flavorful. The burnt ends were new to me but I loved them. Crispy on the outside with some juiciness on the inside and the brisket was mouth watering. I was sad when we are everything but my goodness... It was so filling so I didn't need more.I haven't had this good of barbecue since I went to a small barbecue place in North Carolina years ago. This made me so happy and I will absolutely be returning with my husband whenever we can. I would give this higher stars if I could because I'm so glad we have such an amazing authentic barbecue restaurant so close.Thank you to the chef(s? and everyone as well for dedicating so much time every day to watching meats for hours to ensure they turn out this stellar. You're efforts do not go unnoticed. Everyone at your restaurant rocks!!!
Don't let the name fool you this place is high end BBQ conveniently tucked into a mini plaza down the street from the Rite Aid. Try the cornbread next time you go.Their cornbread is sumptuous and slightly sweet. It's substantial and fills you up quicker than you think! They do daily burger specials, posted on Facebook.Let me know if you want to see their Grilled Cheese Brisket and I'll make a return stop.Parking: Parking is tight. This little plaza is right across from Garden City Drive and to the right of the Rite Aid that's across from Jonnett Plaza.Be careful pulling in. Cross traffic turns onto Garden City drive, and the intersection up the hill is one of the busiest in all of Monroeville. There's a 3 spot parking area next to the telephone pole that I use because that's the safest place to pull out from. The parking in front of the Laundromat is extremely tight.
My go-to BBQ in the Pittsburgh Area. Not much in the BBQ space in the north hills, so when I visit family in the east side of the city I HAVE to stop here. Food is always good and well prepared. I get takeout and I have never had an issue with food missing or packaged improperly.Sides are just as good as the meats. Serving sizes are as expected and never spending too much money for not enough food. If you like BBQ you must stop here sometime.
First time here. Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich, turkey barbecue, brisket, collards, potato thing that all exceedingly great, something that you might spend 10 times as much for an expensive restaurant and even then probably not as good. The atmosphere is totally industrial/ barbecue joint. Food served on aluminum trays, not on a plate. You do get a number on a stand to put on your table and they will bring food to you. If you have a craving for barbecued meat, this is one of the best places I've ever been to.
