NBC is the Top 10 dim sum restaurants in all of socal hands down. During covid, they are open and with outdoor dining open again, we can finally enjoy their dishes fresh and steaming hot! Top tip, call in your order in advance and avoid waiting in long lines.

Top dim sum place in LA. This is the only few places in LA that is still using traditional pushing cart to serve dim sums. They are open for outdoor dining again where you can enjoy hot and steaming dim sums. The dim sums offered here are comprehensive to include every dim sum you can think of. But during the pandemic, some of the dim sums are not in the carts. We came on the second day of the Chinese New Year for lunch dim sum. You can imagine the line would be extra long. So we came early and got a table with very little waiting time. We totally enjoyed the new year dim sum with friends and family. We ordered a lot and had a feast. I particularly enjoyed their BBQ pork bun. Buns were soft and fluffy and the BBQ pork fillings were so tasty. The gluttonous rice wrapped in lotus leaves was too bad either. Unlike other dim dim places, the rice was cooked perfectly so there was no mushiness in this dim sum. The har gao and shui mai were ok, but portion was perfect as we had 5 people for dim sum and those orders came in with five pieces each. Despite been packed, the service was impeccable. They constantly come to fill out our tea pot and clean out the empty plates. We enjoyed our good food and the service.

Great dumplings and a favourite go-to place. Dead reliable and no fuss instant dining. We went there in covid-times and they have a great outdoor setup where I felt safe.

This is an overdue review. The first time I tried this place was when my mom’s former coworker invited my mom and I did lunch/dinner. I cannot thank him enough. My first experience here was great! If you are craving Chinese food in the San Gabriel Valley area, NBC Seafood Restaurant is a good choice that won’t disappoint. The quality of the food is top quality and very delicious. This place also serves great dim sum! Whenever my family and I crave dim sum, this was the go-to spot. The food is not only delicious, but the service here is quick and good. I have not had any terrible experiences here. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Chinese food and/or a good place to grab dim sum!

I was a little harsh before. This is my favorite restaurant in Chinatown. The food is delicious and the price/ portion ratio is awesome. I've had a lot of fun experiences here.
