You definitely won’t regret trying the sand dab—it’s fantastic! The salmon glazed with ginger and soy sauce is incredible as well. Don’t forget, happy hour is from 4 to 6 PM on weekdays, featuring the dishes mentioned above.

My favorite casual seafood spot in Monterey. The seafood is fresh, the whole menu is fairly priced, and the service is fast and professional. The last time I stopped in for lunch I had a Cup of Clam Chowder, the Sand Dabs Appetizer plate and a Coke for less than $30 with tax. Two thumbs up for me.

Good, classic fish and chips. Much better and far more authentic spot than anything on Fisherman 's Wharf. Felt very much like a local 's restaurant even though I 'm sure some tourists make it here. Great service. Only reasons for 4 not 5 stars are 1 space is a bit rundown inside 2 yet prices are a bit high 3 nothing on draft (only bottled beer with fish and chips nothing beats a good draft beer! .
