Bidra med feedbackWe love taking our boat to Fajita Jacks for a great margarita and to enjoy the BEST VEGGIE FAJITAS I've ever tasted! However, there is one major drawback: they won't allow us to bring our Doodle (dog) onto their secondary patio. We would visit every time we're out on the boat, but we typically have our dog with us. They actually have two separate patios, and there's even an external gate for entry. Those who are against dogs on patios wouldn't even notice! The interior would remain unaffected. There's another waterfront restaurant that welcomes dogs, so we're planning to check it out next time. However, we truly hope that FJ's will consider being more accommodating to dog-loving families like ours. We've tried ordering to go to eat on the boat, but it's just not the same. Additionally, there's no seating available near the dock outside. Many people adopted dogs during the pandemic, and we’ve grown accustomed to spending time together everywhere. FJ's really needs to embrace dog families, following the lead of many other restaurants and businesses. If they were to open a dog-friendly patio, my rating would instantly go from 3 stars to 5 stars! It’s an easy fix—the setup is already in place—and it would make a lot of customers very happy!
The food was delicious, and our server was very attentive, always greeting our group of ten with a smile! I wasn't a fan of the salsa, as it was smooth and could have used more heat, but everyone at my table enjoyed it! However, I really loved the avocado dip that came with the chips. My main course was delicious and very generous in portion. I will definitely be back!
Let?s start with the photos of the margaritas is nothing like what they deliver. The frozen margaritas are 1/2 liquid. (All of them as we watched the bartender). Second this is the least Mexican or TexMex menu we have seen a burrito with French fries inside, no carnitas, just such a limited traditional menu. Now if all you want is a fajita then they have them. The service, our waiter was friendly, engaging and helpful. So 5 stars for him. Freddie hustles! The fajita for the price makes you want to shout the old Wendy?s slogan ?Where?s the beef? We also had a plate of crispy tacos. Shells were fresh and nice, but the lack of seasoning and taste was evident. Would I return, No Could have a good time: great view of the lake and the option to eat outside but set your expectations accordingly. Don?t bring a guest from outside of Texas here for a representation of TexMex.
Scenery is what made this a 4 star. But I was disappointed in service. My wife 3yr old and I had been waiting for 10 minutes at our table(easily)before we were approached. Once food got there it was not sizzling like some other tables near us and not worth the $45 price tag it came with. Overall it was a $77 experience I won't do again. It's sad cause the service doesn't match the beautiful lake surrounding it.
Haven?t been here in ages and were very impressed with the food and the service! My husband and I both loved our meals! Will definitely be back soon!
