Ricky's Thai - Montgomery

My husband and I went out for lunch at this restaurant. We ordered Pad Thai and Red Thai curry. Unfortunately, the next day we both got food poisoning. It has been three days and we are still suffering from stomach pain. Our overall rating is 1 for the food, 5 for the service, and 5 for the atmosphere. Service was dine-in and the meal type was lunch.

I had never been to a Thai restaurant before, and my experience at this restaurant was excellent from the moment my friend and I walked in. It's a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping plaza. We received a warm welcome from a friendly face, followed by a very helpful waitress. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and relaxing. Our waitress was not pushy and took the time to answer any questions we had. The prices were very reasonable, similar to any good lunch spot. We were served promptly from ordering to receiving our meal, and the food was fantastic. My friend prefers vegetarian dishes with minimal spice, while I enjoy spicy food. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely return. We would not have discovered this restaurant if our first choice was available, but we were glad they recommended it to us. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant with great service, quality food, and reasonable prices, this is the place to go. They can customize the spice level of your food based on your preference. If you have any questions or dietary restrictions, feel free to ask as they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning. In terms of accessibility, the restaurant is not suitable for wheelchairs. The parking lot may get busy at times, but there is generally plenty of free parking available. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20 for lunch.

I tried the traditional ground chicken Thai style kra pao and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering it again, highly recommend! I also sampled the crying tiger, which had an interesting taste and was well-seasoned with a hint of tomato flavor. The portion size was on the smaller side for the crying tiger, as the sauce took up half of the plate. Overall, I will be trying this dish again. The service was for delivery, and the meal was for dinner. The price per person was $20-$30. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

We usually get takeout, but the dine in is good as well. The spice level between here and their Hillsborough location are different (I forget which is spicier, the Hillsborough one is on my way home from work, so it depends what day of the week it is where i order) but the taste and quality of both places is very good Definitely recommend, a go to place for us Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall solid Thai food friendly staff except the one young lady with glasses. Asked for brown rice instead of white and she looked at me like she was eating sour grapes. I’m tipping you for your service, I expect to be served my rice preference without facing your callous attitude. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
