Dave Phriends Grill - MONTPELIER

Dave Phriends Grill serves the BEST club sandwiches. Whenever I have a service call near Montpelier, I make it a point to grab two of them from Dave's afterward. The service is consistently friendly, and the food is amazing!

Ordered a hamburger. It was raw inside. I went back to order a chocolate chip cookie. The menu listed the cookies for $2.99 but I was told that one cookie was $3.79. Overall bad experience.

This was the first restaurant I went to after moving here from California. And it could not have been a better introduction to this community. The owner is AMAZING, his energy is fantastic and his staff is great. The food is always worth it.

Two stars only because food isn't horrible. Honestly, just average tasting. But WAY overpriced ! Also, online menu has old and wrong prices. So unless you are a frequent visitor, you have no idea how much your meal will be when placing a phone order.$5 for 6 or 7 small onion rings is ridiculous but that is what you get. Fries same thing...very small amount at huge price. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes so I know the onion rings weren't handcut. Charging that much for a store brought onion rings is wrong.LOVE local restaurants and mom and pop type of businesses. We all understand inflation and sadly the times we are living in right now with high prices. So, I understand small businesses having to overcharge a bit.But $32 for two just average tasting burgers and two VERY small sides plus no drinks included is incredibly wrong. Do yourselves a favor and drive the extra 10 or so minutes to Ashland and/or go to Five Guys for that kind of money. Beter tasting burgers at Five Guys plus a ton of fries or rings and drinks for give or take same price.
