Bidra med feedbackChez An is a friendly, neighbourhood restaurant serving good Vietnamese food.We were on our way to Usine C for a show and decided to have an early dinner at Chez An. I ordered 2 Imperial Rolls and a small Rare Beef Pho. I was not disappointed. My husband ordered the Table D'Hote Stir-Fried Shrimp with Peanut Sauce and Mushrooms. He loved it! He especially liked the fried spinach that came with the main dish. This is not a fancy restaurant but it's clean and the service is friendly. After we left our server (part owner?) came running after us. My husband left his sunglasses on the table and they were being returned. It was a very nice gesture.Chez An is not in a touristy area but we will return if we're in the area.
We went there for pho and weren't impressed at all! Two stars because the waitress was really nice.
My friends couldn't shut up about how great this place was was so I finally went to see and taste for myself.
We were here two years ago when we were in Montreal and decided to try Chez An again. The restaurant is on Rue Ontario E. just north of the Beaudry Metro and the gay village. Just far enough to have much lower prices. This time we opted for the Table d'hôte, which included an appetizer, a soup, main course and a dessert. It was a good choice and the price was right. As last time, everything was delicious. We will return again next time we're in Montreal.
Very good cheap tonic soup than elsewhere. Nice service. Bring your wine.
