Chez Chine - Montréal

I normally avoid restaurants attached to hotels but Chez was very good. Service excellent, food good, in quiet clean setting with pond.

I arrived at 9:50pm and was denied service because the restaurant said they close at 10pm, even though their posted hours state they close at 10:30pm. The host did not apologize.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We were impressed by the beautifully designed interior, although we were unaware it was located inside the holiday inn on the second floor. The food was delicious, but a bit pricey. The bathroom policy was a bit strange, as only guests with a key were allowed to use them. Despite this, everything else was lovely. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive.

My wife and I held our wedding at Chez Chine restaurant on September 23rd. Our guests were all very happy with the venue. The atmosphere is stunning, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was exceptional. We want to give a special thank you to Chef Y for helping us with all of our requests. He met with us personally at least 10 times and took care of all of our needs. It was a night to remember and we are thrilled that we chose Chez Chine for our special day.

The personal was so beautiful and grilled us. eating reminded us of home, how it tasted like Chinese food from Britain. beautiful landscape and the portions are perfect.
