Spanel - Montréal

Petit écrin breton dans le quartier de la Petite Bourgogne ou de Griffintown, la limite entre les deux est rapprochée. Accessible facilement de la station de métro Georges-Vanier, un 7 à 10 minutes de marche vous creusera l'appétit. Le resto est super sympa, tout comme les serveurs et le patron, qui manie la spanel (spatule en breton). Les plats de crêpes au sarrasin étaient savoureux, les cafés spécialités également. Prix plus que raisonnable pour la qualité des produits (entre 11 et 18$ l'assiette). J'ai hâte d'y revenir pour essayer une autre crêpe. Ken emberr!!

C'est tellement bon ces crêpes bretonnes. Eh! Oui des crêpes faites une par une par le chef selon les demandes de ses clients. Je l'ai vu faire il fait la crêpe demandée avec un soin inhabituel c'est-à-dire qu'il fait sa crêpe avec amour pour son client comme si il en avait une seule à faire. Pourtant son restaurant est toujours plein. Même je donne le conseil de réserver surtout les fins de semaine. Bravo au chef et son jeune serveur asiatique qui est d'une aide indéfectible pour le chef. Avec son beau sourir il nous conseille avec délicatesse en rejoignant nos goût.

Always the best ingredients and great service. Beware lineups on weekends but with the wait . Many different crêpes identified by Montréal neighbourhoods . Good coffee and cider . Highly recommend

This was my first meal dining out on Montreal. The food was delicious, prompt and presented impeccably with a great range to choose from. However for me the highlight had to be the staff. From the moment of entry, the front of house, servers and even the chef were a delight and a genuine credit to themselves. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.

We came in later on a Sunday afternoon, I had searched for crepes on Google and this place came up. Was it ever worth the walk over from the Bell Centre! Service was prompt and friendly, selection was great, my mocha was a tad bitter- a testament to the quality of chocolate they use- and we left very full and very pleased! I’m making a point of going back the next time I’m in Montreal
