Taste the Yorke - MOONTA

If the owner wants to talk we'll get someone to make coffee and not a great coffee that I had to wait for. NOT HAPPY!

Taste the Yorke in Moonta today. Beautiful place. Everything made in-house using local, seasonal produce.Fantastic customer service. The vintage decor really sets the welcoming feel and ambience to the experience.We had Lemon meringue Tart and Jason had chocolate cake. Coffee was *amazing* Definitely on our return list.

My son's tastes are a typical kid's - fussy yet bland. It was pretty late in the afternoon and the kitchen was pretty much closed when we came in, yet they engaged us in a chat and in no time volunteered to fire up the toasted sandwich maker for a magnificent toastie. Just so friendly - and the coffee I had was spot on too.

This bright and friendly cafe serves delightful home made lunches. We had leek and potato soup with a special dark rye bread which was delicious. They also have a kids corner with blackboard and a corner where you can bring and buy holiday reading.

This place is great with lovely FRESH products made on site daily. The lemon curd tarts, muffins & brownies are great. The savoury menu had me salivating but it was 5mins to closing so I will have to go back. They do Avo Smash, open grilled sandwiches all with a funky genuinely Local feeling. Take the time to notice the barbed wire light shades and the absolutely beautiful water colours of the local area that are for sale.All in all great food, coffee and various other items for sale (without being cluttered or junkie) and the Staff are super helpful and friendly. A MUST if you are in or near Moonta!
