The Pascoe Vale RSL - Moreland

There were nine of us. The food came out hot and appertising. What each of us ordered was more than enough. Good portions. The desserts were just as morish.

This was a very busy RSL just off Bell St at the freeway end. Plenty of car parking across the street but , as this was a Saturday night and they had a band playing, it was full! Luckily there is a lot of street parking. It was very busy and the line to order meals was huge but did manage to move along reasonably well. The menu was typical pub/RSL fare but was varied and seemed to cater to a lot of tastes. There was a $10 cover charge to be in where the band was (The Ripchords...good!) but a LOT of people ( mainly "seniors") were up and dancing. All in all, a very pleasant and entertaining night.

We've visited a few RSL clubs over the past few weeks for lunch while travelling in Queensland, so when we returned home we thought we'd try our local. Well we were pleasantly surprised it outshone anything we had while we were away, excellent value meals, excellent serving sizes, good quality food. We will definitely be back!

The menu choice is not large but the meals are cooked to perfection and the ingredients are very fresh. The prices are quite cheap as well, bargain.

Typical of all good RSL's with good range of quality meals and local band for entertainment rest of the night. Brilliant
