Bidra med feedbackThe only Yoshinoya around here has a long line for new business, but the drive-thru is really convenient. The food is delicious, hot, and fresh, so it's worth it. However, I noticed that after I received my meal, there was less beef than I expected. It felt like there were only four servings of beef, with more rice and vegetables. If you only want beef, make sure to ask for just two scoops of rice or vegetables, because the portion sizes might not be enough for someone with a big appetite like me.
My children and I are big fans of Yoshinoya, and we make it a point to dine there together. One thing we've consistently noticed is the portion sizes. Among all the Yoshinoya locations we've visited, the one in Moreno Valley stands out for having the best portion sizes. They never skimp on the servings. In fact, my son, who lives in Davis, CA, always buys ten large beef bowls when he comes home to visit!
I understand that they're short-staffed, but at this rate, they might as well close. I went in because the drive-thru was closed. I waited at the counter for five minutes, and no one even acknowledged my presence. There was no "We'll be with you shortly" or "Just a minute." Nothing at all. So, I left, and it seemed like several other customers did the same. They're losing both money and customers. Maybe if they paid a livable wage, they could actually hire more staff.
My mom's full of Japanese, so I grew up in Japanese food... I don't know what that stuff is, but it's not Japanese. People are fun how bad Taco Bell food is, this is the Taco Bell of Japanese restaurants. The beef they use has a very high fat content, so you get this squishy fat consistency in every bite. The chicken comes with skin and fat, egg. I found a human hair in my rind and had to honestly force me to exchange it, knowing I would probably not eat what she gave me. Bowls come with Bland cooked vegetables or Coleslaw. They forgot to give me the sauce with my order of spring rolls. Yup, don't go back. They were warned....
I love Yoshinoya. The service for this one was pretty quick, probably waited for 5 or so minutes. The Udon noodle side dish is pretty tasty. They didn't pack in a lot of meat for the combo but it filled me up regardless.
