Your new location is in a great place. Decor 4/5. Service 4.5/5. Eat 4/5. The food content is fairly large and prices are relatively cheap. It's a great place to share plates. If it has to do, you can feel a little hurry. You do not serve juice drinks or have a children's menu.

This place does Chinese American dishes great. One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. I placed a to go order. The service is fast and affordable. They messed up my order because I wanted beef but received chicken, but the chicken was sweet, spicy, and fried to perfection. This place was so good that before leaving, I ordered some egg rolls and dumplings. The dumplings were fried perfectly. Lightly seared and the wrapping was still smooth (not over done). The spicy oil that is offered to go along with the sweet tangy sauce was bomb! Highly recommend

However, I started to realize that getting a fortune cookie is just an added bonus. Most restaurants don’t offer free treats, but this place does. I would have been perfectly fine if I hadn’t expected a freebie from a restaurant that usually doesn’t provide one. It was my own high expectations that spoiled the experience. It’s like when kids believe in Santa Claus; if they find out he’s not real, they’re devastated. From my own experience, I know that if they’d never been told about Santa, there’d be no disappointment. They might even appreciate their parents more because they receive gifts every year without expectations. So, in a way, not getting a fortune cookie didn’t actually make me sad. I think my disappointment stemmed from knowing they existed in the first place. In the future, instead of expecting a fortune cookie every time I come here, I’ll just be pleasantly surprised if I do get one. In any case, the food I paid for was so delicious that it helped me forget all about the free cookie I didn’t get.
