Bidra med feedbackThis place is a fixed four stars. Some things were safe less than four stars; the wings came soggy, the blue cheese was watery, the celery was floppy (as it was all in water or something sawn in), and the drinks were small, weak and expensive. Some things were really great. We had beautiful salads with what seemed to be freshly cut vegetables, the shrimps and scallops were large and cooked for perfection with a great balance of spices, and the steak we ordered came from a true medium rare (hard to find in Morgantown... seems like everyone wants to overtake it). The service was very friendly and good for it only one server (it was a slow week night, so I get it). Bottom line: this place was not spectacular, but it was certainly not bad. I don't know that I would go out of my way to recommend it, but if someone asked, I would certainly say to check it. You should do that when you're at the fence! I bet you have a good meal and a good service.
Ate here after a WVU football game. It was 8pm and not busy. Lots to choose from on their menu. The service was friendly. There were 4 of us. We ordered burgers, bourbon salmon and grilled pork cops with potatoes. We all enjoyed our meals. The dinner salads were generous.
Food was OK, but it took exceptionally long to get it. Waiters and waitresses did a good job, but there appeared to be problems in the kitchen. Several of our group didn't get what they ordered which is the reason for the three star rating. Drink prices may be a little high, but acceptable. Manager needs to stay on top of things.
I ordered the lobster, I believe the lobster has been waiting for me for a while. It has no flavor and was saturated with cheap butter. It was rubbery and flat. The toasted bread that came with it is also saturated with cheap butter. He hot tea was barely served hot. No other choice of tea. The mug was served with out a saucer and the tea bag was just drop on the table. The oyster cracker that came with soup was drop on the floor and still was served to us. No repeat business from me.
I went to their Thanksgiving buffet with some friends and family at the 3:00 PM Slot. First, we waited for at least 30 minutes. Out drinks came about 20 minutes after we were seated and the food was sparse. The prime rib was DRY and well done, the stuffing was, we think, croutons moistened with something. It was in squares and had NO flavor. The ham was dry and they were almost completely out of desserts: the males in the family were only interested in pumpkin or peanut butter pie, both of which were GONE! I finally did complain after the waitress questioned if we were happy with our food. I said no and voiced my opinion regarding the facet that they were short on food and what WAS there was not desirable. The ? manager came to the table and offered a 25% discount, which we took , and then offered bread budding for dessert. I think we should have been given more of a discount based on our limited choice of food that was left. I strongly feel that an establishment should offer the later scheduled patrons the SAME QUALITY AND AMOUNT of food as the 1:00 PM people got. If you can 't judge how much food to make, then don 't schedule later patrons. This is the second time I have gone there and gotten inferior prime rib. I will NOT return.
