Gasoline Alley Grille - Morgantown

Stayed overnight after visiting the area and not wanting to take a 2 hour drive home late at night. Hugh mistake. Between the constant slamming of doors, kids running in hallways, noise from the room above mine, people having loud conversations right outside the door and dogs constantly barking, it was impossible to get any rest. I would have been better off sleeping in my car in the parking lot. Despite being an IHG Platinum Elite member I was not recognized or thanked for my loyalty at check in and my request for a high floor which is part of my stay preferences was not honored. I was told the room type I selected when making the reservation was only available on the first floor and that it was a renovated room. If I wanted to be on the top floor the room was not renovated. From reading older reviews on TripAdvisor it appeared that hotel management stated the property would be undergoing renovations BACK IN 2017 so how is it that some rooms are renovated and others are not? As many reviewers have stated, the lobby area is very open, bright and modern but once I got to my renovated room I could see it was worn in many places and there were hairs left behind in the bathtub which I refused to use. All of this was mentioned to the desk clerk upon checkout yet no type of apology was offered. I will certainly never stay at this location again.

Finally, a hotel that knows how to take care of a customer. From Check In to Check Out, it was awesome. And they are sincere and want to know how things are throughout our stay. We even received a text half way through our stay asking how things are. And they want to make it a 10 stay everyday! Everything was clean and kept cleaned. Employees were friendly and helpful. Room was large and beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very efficient with soap dispensers on the wall. 10+ 5-star hotel. We will stay here again!

The hotel is very modern looking in the lobby. The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice touch in the lobby as well. The desk clerk Noelle was very nice and welcoming. The room was alittle run down but it was clean. The shower was great it had nice pressure and was nice and hot. The bed and linens were good. Nice location if going to the casino or the car mall. For the money it was a good stay!

7 of our group decided to eat here since we all where staying at the Holiday Inn. First we stood by the Wait to be seated sign for about 30 minutes, staring atleast at 6 empty tables, then I had to find the waitress to tell her we where seating ourselves. Second I had to go to the bar to get drinks, since we where seated for over another 30 minutes. Third, after another 45 minutes went by, I had to go chase down a waitress to order our food. So to say we enjoyed our visit would be an understatement. I even seen customers, that where tired of waiting, order pizza and had it delivered to the restaurant so they could eat. Honestly I wish I could rate our experience lower.

Between the 3 of us, the food was great. Our waitress was great as well. Anything we needed, she was right on top of. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
