Woodburn Shanks Pit Bbq - Morgantown

During my recent visit to town, I had the chance to try KC girls, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. This is authentically KC-style BBQ! The meat was smoked fresh this morning, and all of their sides, dry rubs, and the delicious sweet and spicy KC BBQ sauce are made from scratch. They even make their own sausage here, which is fantastic. The food is outstanding, and the meat is incredibly tender. Don't hesitate—this is a must-try spot. I've also heard they'll be serving beer soon!

We were fortunate to discover this gem while on a road trip! It's a must-stop for anyone passing through Morgantown. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The meat is slow-cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. All the sauces are family recipes made from scratch right in-house. The mac and cheese was also fantastic!

I recently had some of the best grilled food I've experienced in years at a restaurant. Many places shy away from using bold spices, but not Woodburn. The ribs were absolutely delicious, with a delightful spice that paired perfectly with the KC Sweet sauce – truly some of the best ribs I've ever had! The sides were also warm and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! They mentioned that the restaurant has only been open for a few months, but I can already tell there are great things in store for this place. It even features a full stage! There are also a few outdoor terrace areas that would be perfect for setting up a mini bar and some fun adult games. I'm from Baltimore, but from now on, my go-to destination will be Morgantown, WV. This will always be my favorite spot for food! Thank you for the amazing food and friendly service. If I could give you 10 stars, I would give you 12!

We have the brisket, pork, green beans and Mac and cheese. Both meats were amazing. The Brisket was the best I had in a restaurant. The green beans had a ton of bacon that made them amazing! Cosy atmosphere and fast service!

It's been a while since I've had BBQ, so I stopped in. This place certainly satisfied that craving! I grabbed the 2 meat plate, which came with bread and 2 sides and it was quite a bit of food. The food was tasty, sauces were delicious, and the service was very quick and helpful as it was my first time. I look forward to them adding drinks and expanding the space, whoch already provides that small town bbq feel. I can definitely see myself coming back and bringing out of town guests. :
