Bidra med feedbackI remember first going to Sherry's Country Corner Cafe a year ago and the first thing I thought was it was warm and cozy. The second thought was why is there AVON here?? lol. I quickly realized how fun it is to browse while you...wait for your home cooked food. It's like any interesting Decor gives you something interesting to look at. Sherry's is open Tues tp Sunday until 2pm so they are very focused on breakfast and lunch home cooked meals. The food is fabulous and it's a nice chatty diner. The waitresses are fresh and warmly sarcastic. Sherry herself runs the show and gives everyone her comfortable warmth. It reminds me of the old truck stop diners where the waitresses talk to you like they know you and have been waiting for you to return. Perfect little place to stop in on your way in or out of Rondeau Provincial Park. We fuel up there on our way to the cottage. Great prices, great food, great service and a real comfortable atmosphere. You cannot go wrong! This is NOT a place to rush, this is a place to visit as they are generally pretty busy. It's a favorite of the locals, cottagers, campers and tourists. Don't miss it!

Lots of locals, talking about their crops, horses or family. Everyone who enjoys friendly, informal dining will enjoy Sherry's. Don't worry about dress or dirt it's all okay. Bring you appetite 'cause everything is good - love the perogies and the homemade soups and deserts. Sherry loves to joke with her customers and makes everyone feel they're part of the family.
Love this place. The owner is s per friendly. All meals are made fresh. Sally is a great cook. They have the best homemade bread pudding EVER! This place always feel like home.
Even though this little cafe has only been here a little over four years it feels like a hold over from a time when small "mom & pop" diners dotted two lane roads all over Canada and the US before they were lost to super highways. Yes, Sherry takes your order, prepares the food and serves you all the while conversing with you as if you were a regular and keeping your coffee cup full. The breakfast and lunch selections are simple and straight forward but well portioned and enjoyable. Sherry closes around 2:00 pm. You may want to call to be sure they're open.Located seemingly in the middle of nowhere it is just a few km outside Rondeau Provincial Park at the intersection of Kent Bridge Road and New Scotland Line. You can't help but wonder how many cars and trucks have missed the New Scotland Line stop sign and come close to crashing through the front window of the cafe!Since my wife is not a big breakfast person I enjoy my escapes from our summer cottage at the park to sit at the counter here and indulge in a full breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast or pancakes . . . and some local conversation.
