Joe's Crab Shack - MORROW

Came in for dinner after a long flight from New Orleans and expected to have great seafood. Highly disappointed. The service was awful. The waitress kept disappearing and the manager had to continue to wait on the table. The shrimp Alfredo was cold and only had 3 shrimp. They got one order wrong and brought out shrimp to someone who had a allergin and asked for chicken. I would never visit this establishment again.

Has to be the most over priced place ever. Shrimp way over cooked. Cornbread awful. Bacon wrapped shrimp good. Shrimp scampi worst I ever had. Calamari bland, marinara awful Service shoddy as well. Charles not busy but too busy for drink refills. At best a ho him place. Lots better places. Did I mention expensive?

Location on Mt Zion Rd. Parking was not an issue. My sister and I were in the mood for some seafood for lunch and neither one of us had been to Joe's so here we are. Joe's was jumping, lots of celebrations happening that day. This is a great place for Birthday or graduation party. We order the Artic Bay Steampot for 2 which included Snow crab, shrimp, a whole Maine lobster and smoked sausage cooked in garlic butter and topped with Old Bay Seasoning. We devoured it. Lol. We also indulged on the Classic Sampler which consisted of Crazy Good Crab Dip, Great Balls of Fire and Crispy Calamari the Great Balls of Fire Yummy!! My fave. We sipped on sweet tea. Our waitress was average, not terrible but not the best. Nonetheless my sister and I enjoyed our girls day lunch.

In the year of our Lord 2019, can you believe me a seafood fanatic had never eaten at Joe's Crab Shack until last weekend. Yup never have. So my first visit lived up to the expectations to the previous ever elusive Joe's Crab Shack! Well for the decor I'm a big fan of anything from the 70s and that's Joe Crab's Schtick. Lots of tie dye, mushrooms and awesome music from the time period. The service was awesome. Our server was on it and very helpful. My boyfriend and I each ordered the Rajun Cajun crab pot and he ordered the snow crab bucket with Cajun seasoning. We shared the both between us and the amount of food was crazy! So much food and it was delicious! The seasoning was soo good! So all in all, no complaints here about Joe's!

Door was held open by a friendly host. We were seated right away and our server Bernard came right over to take our drink orders. We shared the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Very tasty except I thought the stuffing was too much breadcrumb and not enough crab. We both had the fish and shrimp entree. Generous portion. Lighty battered. Fresh tasting. Served with coleslaw, hush puppies and fries. Tasty meal! Bernard was helpful, efficient and checked on us several times to ensure we had everything we needed. Very nice lunch.
