Le Candille - Mougins

We ate outside on the terrace which had a marvelous view of the countryside. The food and service was quite good even if somewhat pricey. A worthwhile evening

A perfect lunch at Mas Candille! This is a venue that ticks all the boxes for me.The entrance to this beautiful estate is enchanting and as you pull up at the restaurant you simply hand over your car keys and everything is looked after. When it's time to leave your car is back at the entrance, engine running and aircon at a perfect temperature.That would almost be enough for me without the smiling service, the quality of the food and views that stretch to the foothills of the Alps.Maybe the service could be slightly more efficient but I prefer a smile to efficiency which is why I would rate the service ten out of ten. Too often efficiency comes with pretentiousness and there's nothing pretentious about Mas Candille. I love it.The lunch time Market Menu is changed weekly. We will be back next week.

I went there with family for dinner. Although we were quite numerous, the staff was very helpful with the reservation, where we were given a private room and the chef also proposed a menu which was excellent, not only for adults but also for the kids. The place itself is beautiful with very nice ambiance, although not very easy to reach - we wondered whether we were not lost as we had to pass small roads. In any case, we were satisfied with the menu and the service. would definitely recommend it !

From the moment we arrived we were enchanted by the restaurant. There service was attentive and knowledgeable. The hostess Frederica was charming and cared about her clients without over imposing to ensure they were receiving the service they needed. The sommelier was helpful and guided us to a good choice of wine. The food was divine. From the first dish to the desert everything was prepared with not only an excellent presentation but also with flavours that lifted the food to another planet. Not only was it good but also intelligently thought out giving an adequate healthy balance. We spent an excellent evening and on reading another critic I can only ask if they ate in the same restaurant or simply chose badly. Finally the setting in the garden is beautiful. Thank you to the team for a great experience we will be back soon. We have not been for several years but this was clearly an error to miss a restaurant of such high quality.

Restaurant setting is fantastic.Service was mediocre. Had to ask for serval things. Food was ok. I wouldn't recommend ordering the tuna/beef tartare as very bland. King crab was.nice. Pigeon was okay but not as good as it could have been. Strawberry cheesecake was nothing more than ok. A lovely setting but if you want amazing fine dining then choose somewhere else
