Great Belgium and German style beers brewed and owned by the Mount Angel Abbey. The dubbel is quite good

It’s a very nice place! We arrived when they opened at 2:00PM and by 3:15 it was a hoppin’ place! Family friendly too! We visited a couple years ago and again today December 28 will definitely have to come back in the summer they are putting in an additional area for outside seating. ?

My first sip of their St Michael beer transported me back to my time in Germany. I wisely started with a sampler and all were fantastic. The food menu is modest, but the beer can’t be beat. I don’t live in Oregon but visit frequently and you can bet future trips will include stops at this Benedictine Brewery.

I'm a life-long local and a known regular, and I absolutely love the Benedictine Brewery. I make a point to stop at least once a week for the pious indulgence in Benedictine libations. Proof that Catholics make the best beer. Ora et Labora
