Tranquilo - Mount Barker

I've been here a few times and they never fail to disappoint! The food is so tasty and so well presented, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. With the music and the decor, it's a lovely atmosphere to be in. Also, the all you can eat mexican Monday/Friday is incredible, and worth going for the guacamole alone, it's so good. Definitely recommend!

On Sunday, after visiting the Stirling markets, we came across this lovely little restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and seated right away. Looking at the menu, it was a tough choice to decide what to order. I opted for the beef cheek, and it was honestly the best meal I've ever had. I made everyone at the table take a bite, and I loved watching their expressions change to pure bliss. I can’t wait to return. You should definitely visit Tranquilo; you won’t be disappointed!

The service here is friendly, and the arancini are delicious, accompanied by olives. The lamb shanks with mashed potatoes are simply amazing!

During my first visit to this restaurant, I truly appreciated the ambiance. The staff was both friendly and efficient, and the food was outstanding. I had three courses, along with coffee, and I couldn’t find anything to criticize. I appreciated the menu's simplicity—it wasn’t overwhelming at 20 pages, yet there was still something for everyone. Additionally, the specials board offered some fantastic dishes. This charming little spot makes me wish I lived closer. I will definitely return!
