Holy Grill - Mount Evelyn

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed down. The gnocchi and risotto were delicious, but the service was lacking.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning looking for a light meal and coffee. The staff kindly prepared a delicious off-menu toasted cheese and tomato sandwich for us, which came with a side of salad. The meal was well-prepared and affordable. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff even brought us iced water without us having to request it. The coffee was also quite good.

The burger was delicious and fresh, the salmon was okay, but the parma was disappointing. The chicken was not cooked properly, the crumb was oily and soggy, and the overall dish was unappetizing. The prices were also higher compared to competitors in the area. It was clear why the restaurant was nearly empty, as there wasn't much to rave about. I may give this place another chance in the future, but I won't be in a hurry to return anytime soon.

Next been here before but had high hopes. Very disappointing. Nice waitress and hot drinks but breakfast was terrible. Got eggs Benedict and had soggy toast with salty spinach and thick acidly hollandise sauce. Never again.

The last 2 times have not been great No dressing on the mains salad It’s all well and good serving a massive chicken parmigiana however if an average person can’t get through 3/4 of it what’s the point. Sadly it’s wasteful Service was lacking; said they were understaffed (it was a Saturday) This place has had many name changes with each struggling this one is unfortunately no exception.
