Billy Goat Coffee Cafe - Mount Juliet

The Chicken Salad on Greens has quickly become one of my favorite lunch options. I deducted one star because the last time I ordered it, the greens had an odd taste.

Quaint little spot with a unique menu. Everything was cooked to perfection! Worth the visit!

This is a fantastic place to visit! The only area for improvement is the coffee selection and preparation. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

I ordered an iced coffee in-store since the DoorDash app didn’t have a decaf option. Unfortunately, I was given a hot coffee instead. Although I mentioned to the barista that I was okay with it since it took a while to be served, they didn’t offer to remake it. I had already placed a DoorDash order for pickup before ordering my coffee, with the app indicating it would be ready in 9 minutes. When I asked the barista about the DoorDash order, they told me it was almost ready. After waiting for 30 minutes, I inquired again with another employee. I saw them check the tablet and they realized they hadn’t even seen or started my order yet. There was only one other table of guests who arrived at the same time, and there was nothing else happening in the café. We finally received our food after 50 minutes, which set us back an hour on our travel plans. When we finally got our order, the quality was disappointing. The club sandwiches were served on untoasted bread, the bacon was cold with congealed fat, and they forgot the chips that were supposed to come as a side. It was inedible. Overall, it was a terrible experience and a waste of time. The staff clearly seemed overwhelmed and lacked the resources to do their jobs effectively.
