Los Compadres - Mount Juliet

Worst Mexican food we have ever eaten. Took a group of 9 family members to eat it took over an hour just to get drinks once seated. After we got drinks another 30 minutes had passed before I went and got a manager to take our order. Every plate had issues from the food being dry and no flavor to just completely incorrect from what was ordered. As far as price they are expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants we have been to by a few dollars per plate.

The service was great, they made sure we always had refills of both drinks and chips. Most of the food was perfect, some things were a little dry. If you get chicken, cheese, and rice, I recommend the shredded chicken as it's good.

Food was good and staff was friendly but i won’t be coming back here. are here last night and my bank statement shows that my waitress decided to add $3 extra onto her tip without my consent. so if you want your money stolen from you, go for it.

We went last week for lunch, the place wasn’t busy but the service was very sub-par. They messed up our kids meal (which was ordered straight off the menu) another person in our parties order as well. The limes and avacados still had produce stickers on them the food just wasn’t great.

As a Mexican-American, I've tried numerous Mexican restaurants, and they often fall short. I usually reserve my judgment on the food until after I've left. However, dining at Los Compadres was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the Fajitas Quesadilla, and it was incredibly delicious and fresh! For the first time, I found myself genuinely complimenting my meal while eating and sharing my enjoyment with my husband. He was taken aback because he knows that if I'm not satisfied, I'll wait until we leave to express my thoughts about the food being just average. Los Compadres has definitely become my go-to spot! We stumbled upon it while visiting from Florida, and I'm so glad we did. The complimentary chips and salsa were delightful, and I especially loved the salsa! Our waitress was very friendly, and the service was prompt. I highly recommend Los Compadres!
