Pepper House - Mount Laurel

Went with a group of 9 people. They were very nice and accommodating for a large group of people. Food was wonderful and they adjusted spice levels for everyone’s liking. For extra mild to extra spicy! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

The food is really good. Better than most other places in South Jersey offering Indian food! We tried both south Indian and North Indian food and it's worth trying! The portions are really good too!Food: 5/5

The tray order for chicken special biryani was amazing. The rice was cooked till perfect consistency and chicken peices were marinated so well. I had asked for a mild version and it was on point. It was more than enough for 12 people .

I ordered chicken tikka masala entree, which came with rice and I also ordered a garlic Naan. The total came up to 21.00 and it was not worth $5.00. The taste was average and the portions were SUPER small. The Naan was also small. I don't understand why there is no pride or decency in this establishment. The restaurant was empty, there is no buffet, so why not give your (few) customers a decent meal. Don't waste your time or money.

1 star review and it is entirely deserved. We placed our order a little before 6pm, and were informed it would be ready around 6:35. We arrived around 6:40, expecting our order to be ready, or ready soon. We waited in their restaurant for almost an hour, constantly being told that our order would be ready in 10 minutes, which could not be further from the truth. We eventually left, after waiting more than an hour for our food. They had no interest in our satisfaction as customers, and only cared about ensuring that money went in their pocket. DO NOT PRE-PAY OR ORDER ONLINE. After we canceled our order, they called us operating under the assumption that we had pre-payed, when in fact we called and never paid a dime. If you use their online ordering and there is a wait, expect your order to be continuously delayed through the evening. The food may be excellent, but I doubt that it is good enough to justify the wait time and terrible customer service.
