Flying Scotsman - Mount Lawley

Food is average but is standard pub grub, which is what you should want and expect when going to a pub for a feed. Great all year round for a beverage, classic pub that is a staple for the ML crowd. Always a good vibe.

I love the Scotsman for its great, and a little gritty, vibe. There might be a few hipsters hanging on the fringes but it’s a very down to earth crowd inside. We were stoked with our meals and the drink prices were reasonable.<br/ <br/ The Thai beef salad was actually perfectly pink and rare as the menu attested. The dressing was subtle but it worked so well. My husband liked the fish and chips although they were pretty standard pub fare.

Sundays at this restaurant are all about pizza and a pint. The prices are great, the location is fantastic, and the pizzas are definitely a hit. It's the perfect spot to unwind and end the weekend.

This pub is fantastic! The customer service here is the best I've experienced in a very long time. The food is great and the portions are large. All four of our meals exceeded our expectations. The fish and chips were amazing, with big chunks of fresh fish. The mushroom pasta was loaded with delicious, large mushrooms. Even the gluten-free pizza was a hit. The staff are excellent. Well done, guys! This pub really ticks all the boxes.

I continue to frequent this restaurant for their delicious, hearty steaks. There was a period where I felt they changed their cuts and the quality suffered, but it seems to have been rectified. The food is still scrumptious. The only downside is that it can get quite loud inside, which can make dinner and conversations challenging. However, I suppose that's to be expected in a pub setting.
