Pizza Delight - Mount Pearl

I would give these 0 points if I gave this option I went to Pizza Delight in Mount Pearl on 11. January 2020 with my sister for a quick bite to eat. It was moderately busy for a Saturday night, but there were many empty tables and many service employees working. When we arrived, nobody came to us. SIX servers went past us and didn't even recognize that we were there or have eye contact. Not even a “we will be with you in a few minutes”. Nobody looked at us. It became extremely unpleasant, because the restaurant is very open and not excessively large. It was obvious that we were there and I don't know how someone wouldn't have noticed us. After 12-15 minutes we went out. At this point no one has spoken to us or made eye contact to realize that we were there. That was the worst service and greeting ever. I'll never return. I can't imagine how slow service would have set us. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.

We had food delivered. We ordered pizza, wings and salad. Both pizzas were boiled and our salad was not delivered with the order. When we got the salad, we just finished. We had to put the pizzas in our eggs and cook them. Oh, and we ordered two a dozen wings and got 12 in one pack and 10 in the other.

I have eaten several times here, food and service always well. The veggie pizza is excellent, also for us non-veggies and the last time I had the house salad and it was really good.

The food was great. Visited with my sister and daughter. My pizza was great, my sisters lasagna was, my daughter loved her puppy pizza. Appropriately expensive, good ambience. PLUS, our server “Josh F” was super nice and friendly. (If he single date me lolololol)

We usually visit about once a month. Service is friendly and efficient and the pizzas, B-B-Q nachos, donairs and calazones are delicious.
