Bidra med feedbackI only had one latte, but it was wonderful! The coffee beans are sourced from a family farm in India, where they are dried on the veranda and then roasted on-site. The flavor is rich and robust, which I really loved since I prefer dark coffee. Although the price is a bit higher at $4 for the small size (the only option), it's definitely worth it for a treat now and then. Treat yourself and enjoy!
Recently visited for dinner. The food was very good. The Coorg style chicken and lamb sauces were definitely different flavors from the usual Nordic restaurants, and the pork dish was very unique. This is a welcome addition to the very limited Indian restaurant scene in the Charleston area. I have to say that I wanted to try this place and read the reviews because I only heard about it in January. It seems that they drop several things from their menu that previous reviewers shaved about the goat and cansas. I think they are still tweaking their menu and working, so I can only hope that they will return, perhaps as day-of-the-week specials, if not regular articles.
So glad we received a flyer about this restaurant in our mailbox! We love Indian food and have really missed it since moving to MP from Chicago. The food was really good. I had the hot Chicken Tikka Masala and appreciated that it was spicy and not overly creamy or rich. The entree came with rice, cooked broccoli and carrots. My husband, who rarely eats a vegetable, said the carrots were his favorite part of the meal. Also enjoyed the chutneys and the coffee. Next time we’ll save room for dessert. Our dinner portions were so large we have lunch for tomorrow. Staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back and recommend it to our friends.
I love Indian food! We tried Coorg Indian Cafe and loved it!! Coffee, pork and lamb curry was tasty. My friends had vegetarian curries and liked it too. I would definitely recommend the place. They serve alcohol as well!
Coorg Indian Cafe is exceptional! As a huge fan of Indian cuisine, I highly recommend dining at this wonderful restaurant. I ordered the Curry Chicken, while my friend tried the Paneer Tikka Masala. We also enjoyed the Naan bread, rice pilaf, samosas, and spicy fries. We were both thoroughly impressed by this authentic Indian eatery run by a family from India.
