Kid Cashew - Mount Pleasant

Loved this place! We came down from Murrells Inlet for the day and picked Kid Cashew via the Happy Cow app since I'm vegan and the folks I was with are omnivores. The atmosphere in the restaurant is bright, cozy, full of life, and welcoming. The staff is genuine and friendly. The food is EXCELLENT. All three of us were very happy with our selections. Our meals came out within ten minutes of ordering. I was particularly pleased that there were so many options on the vegan menu. Kid Cashew will definitely be a must-stop location for us when we come to Mount Pleasant in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised! There were so many creative options that we had a hard time deciding. My family and I ordered several dishes, and with each one, we were more impressed. My husband isn’t a fan of feta, but he even enjoyed the feta and spinach dip. The chicken skewers were full of flavor, and the mac and cheese was delicious. The shrimp and polenta was a new experience for us, and it was fantastic! The desserts were the best I’ve ever had! Great food, excellent service, and the decor was super charming.

An average culinary experience. From meals everything seemed a bit under seasoned <read boring at the night we stopped. The employees were all pleasant, but overall a fairly underwhelming experience.

I had heard about this restaurant before and finally got the chance to visit while taking my daughter to her doctor's appointment. It turned out to be exactly what we needed! The cast iron mac and cheese was delicious. My daughter loved her cheeseburger so much that she asked for a second one—it was incredibly fresh and flavorful! For my lunch, I opted for the two-choice deal for just $11, selecting the Mac Daddy Cheeseburger and meatballs. Both were fantastic! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try more items from their menu.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was tasty, and the beer was nice and cold. The service was excellent, and they have a full bar. I highly recommend this spot to tourists! My wife loved the wood-fired chicken and said it was amazing!
