Very slow service and extremely over priced! The biscuits and gravy were great but the waffles and pancakes were flavourless and fries were undercooked

Toast in Mount Pleasant is an absolute gem for a quick breakfast stop on a Thursday morning before hitting the beach! From the moment I walked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel right at home. The fact that the food is locally made by people who live in the area added an extra touch of charm.Not only did the staff serve up a delicious breakfast, but they were also happy to share their insights on fun things to do throughout the day in the area. Their recommendations made my beach day even more enjoyable!The food itself was a delightful blend of freshness and flavors. I loved knowing that the fruits and vegetables used in my meal were locally grown, adding a burst of seasonal taste to my plate. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the attention to detail in every dish was evident.But what really impressed me was the coffee. Brewed to perfection, the coffee was amazing and hot, filled the air and added to the overall wonderful experience.I highly recommend Toast to anyone looking for a delightful breakfast spot with a local touch. It's not just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience that embodies the heart of Mount Pleasant and leaves you with a smile. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more of their delectable offerings!

First visit here and we did enjoy it. I wasn’t impressed with the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit because it was plain but the home fries was good. We also got the crab cake sandwich which was good, the dry rubbed ribeye that was good but they should have offered a steak knife. Service was good and quick. Fortunately we got there just before the rush so we were able to be seated right away. I do plan on returning.
