Shasta Inn - Mount Shasta

We came for a birthday dinner gathering for a friend. The food was good, but the service was even better.Our previous experiences were the same with food being good, but service was slow due to only one server at those times. Last night our server was fast efficient. Her personality helped make the gathering even more festive fun. We look forward to coming back.

Decent place to stay while in Mt.Shasta. Room was small, but very clean and worked well for our one night stay. They have a couple of Tesla chargers but they were out of order. There are superchargers in town now, so you probabaly won't need them. There is a restaurant as well on permises and also one across the street. They do not serve complimentary breakfast, but they had little brown Bags with yougurt, granola bar, cinnamon bun and water at the front desk. That was a very nice touch! Window AC was noisy. I will stay here again.

My husband stayed at this hotel for 5 days. He liked that there was a restaurant on-site so that he could grab something to eat as well as get a cocktail after work. Everyone in the bar/restaurant were very nice to him all week. He thought the property was well maintained and there was plenty of parking. As for the rooms, the pictures online are what my son calls forced perspective. His room was very small with no closet and the bathroom was very tight. The worst part was the train noise. Luckily, he works in construction, so he had ear plugs in his truck. Would he recommend this hotel again, yes. BUT, bring a pair of earbuds. Otherwise, it's a cute, clean, property, with a great bar/restaurant and wonderful people who work here.

Although the location was great.. the high price did not reflect what it should offer.Cons:The room we got was poorly maintained.Sheets had stains and hair.The faucet knobs did not shut off correctly.The shower knob was broken fell off.The toilet did not flush/leaks.The bathroom reek of mildew.The doors and door handles were covered in dirty hand prints.The bed was extremely uncomfortable very stiff springs.Pros:Close proximity to downtown and Mt. Shasta.Ample parking.Easy check in/out.Cable TV.A/C.Definitely will be spending my money else where next time..

I had a wonderful experience at this cozy hotel. The breakfast to-go bags were a thoughtful addition, and having a restaurant on the property with delicious food was very convenient. The hotel was comfortable and relaxing.
