Woodnotes Grille at Emerson Resort Spa

Catamount is a very convenient dining option for those staying at Emerson. Although I wish there were more menu choices, overall, everything was quite enjoyable. It was a delight to be able to bring my puppy along, and the staff were fantastic.

The service and atmosphere at this restaurant were great. However, I was disappointed to pay 12 dollars for a kids' grilled cheese sandwich that had no cheese. The short ribs were excellent, but I was disappointed by the small portion of vegetables that came with them - just one small carrot and a dozen green beans. While everything was fresh and well-cooked, there wasn't enough food. Additionally, the pours of wine were small and inconsistent. It might be a good idea for them to consider measured pours, like many other restaurants do.

The calamari was delicious and the burgers we all had were cooked perfectly and came in generous portions. The service was excellent. The espresso martini was also a great choice, although I wish it was a bit larger considering the $16 price.

Delicious dinner, drinks and a dog friendly bar! What more could a dog mom ask for? :

Food was delicious, a much more enjoyable breakfast than the popular Phoenician Diner down the street. Pancakes were perfection!
