Burgers are better here than any fast food facility. Always busy. We always stop here after visiting Mount Vernon. The cattle patties are fresh, so I come back. The shakes are delicious. The staff is attentively friendly.

A thrown carhop style enters. I had the Burgermelt, a double cheeseburger with ketchup and mustard. It was good. Thin-cut pommes that came out fresh and hot. The car service was fast.

I give this place 5 stars for what it is: a burger joint. The servers were friendly. In addition to burgers they have garden burgers, grilled cheese, and turkey sandwiches. They also have gluten free buns and french fries! You drive up, stay in your car and turn on your headlights. The server comes to you and takes your order. You can get it to go or you can eat it in your car. I love to eat my burger in my car, listening to my music and/ or reading a good book.

I had just started into my hour plus commute back to home after working 13 hours with no lunch and was starving. I took a chance at a sign I'd seen many times off I-5 and headed to chance the experience. I pulled in and was contemplating the menu as a first timer when I was cheerfully greeted by Donna L (according to my receipt later). This is at 8:23 and they close at 9:00. As a service industry veteran, I know the ongoing challenge it is to see the shift all the way to the end with a good attitude... We had very pleasant banter and I happily took her recommendations as I was quite undecided. Food was great but the whole experience was what drove me to spend the time to write this review after I had an insane work day and commute but still felt I needed to say GREAT JOB Donna and gang tonight. Nailed it!! Thanks for helping feed me and keep my spirits up after a super long day.
