Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Mount Vernon

I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I was throwing up all day yesterday, and it was the only thing I ate. I was perfectly fine before that. I ordered two cheeseburgers, onion rings, and a Sprite. This is my first time ever writing a review. I'm just looking out for others; I don't want anyone else to go through what I'm experiencing right now.

Worst ran DQ in the country. Dirty inside. Very unsanitary. Hamburger meat not cooked enough. Chicken appeared raw. Will NEVER go back

The prices are excessively high, and the burgers lack flavor, tasting almost watery. The chicken tenders are as hard as a brick, and the fountain drinks have an unpleasant taste, reminiscent of pond water.

I visited the restaurant around 5:45 PM on June 6, 2022. When I approached the window, the young woman working there shouted at me, accusing me of being rude while I was simply trying to confirm my order. After I pulled up to the window, she left and went into the dining area. Other staff members were trying to help calm her down. Eventually, a young man from the kitchen came out to speak with me. I expressed that I didn't deserve that kind of treatment, and he explained that they had been having a tough day. I decided to just walk away and left the restaurant.

I celebrated my birthday here and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was superb, and the service was outstanding! Although it's a bit on the expensive side, it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion.
