Denny's - Mount Vernon

The new team is great and precise with an order. my server and the cook were on points, my food came exactly as I wanted. I wish Denny would change the fake syrup they got either with a natural honey or the Canadian maple syrup. It is not healthy to consume High Corn Syrups n artificial stuff. It's a shame that I have to carry a 2oz bottle of syrup on my person to enjoy a few pancakes. High Corn Syrups/Aspartame were marked as rat poison in the 60-70's #GoFigure #SayNo2SyntheticFoods/GMOs

Wow!! Probably the best Denny’s I’ve been to in a long time. The cook is absolutely amazing. I’m a very picky eater and she made my food as good as if I made it at home. And my server was very pleasant and nice and on point. Fantastic experience. I will be making this a point to stop each and every time.

This Denny’s is the bomb. I got a mango smoothie and a grand slamwich, the roof of my mouth is destroyed but it was so worth it for that godly crisp. Hash browns were also killer. Server was super nice and service was super fast even though we showed up at 10 pm. And you’re telling me I could show up at 3 am? Truly the bomb.

Inside, the nostalgic 90s diner decor feels safe, while the style is intriguing. Even with a large party of 11—my extended family and friends—we were promptly seated together at 10 a.m., and our orders were taken right away. The food arrived hot and was incredibly delicious. I ordered the Slam Burger with seasoned fries and a mango smoothie. I’ve never cried over a burger before, but maybe the stresses of the day and my jet lag had me feeling down. Yet, that burger lifted my spirits more than I could have imagined (in a completely non-cannabis way). Thank you, Denny's. I truly appreciate your 24-hour service!

After a busy trip, I crave comfort food, and for me, that means Denny's. It's not the fanciest place around, but I know exactly what I’ll get, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is consistently friendly, and my food arrives hot and quickly. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring there's something for everyone, making it an ideal spot for families. I particularly love having breakfast there every day, and my favorite dish is always the moons over my hammy. Interestingly, they also serve a fantastic hamburger, which even won an informal team competition at work for best value. During my travels across the country, I encountered a few Denny’s that struggled with management, but on the whole, my experiences have been more positive than negative. This particular location was excellent, and I definitely plan to stop by again.
