Everlasting Cup - Mount Vernon

Delicious! All of the pastries were fantastic. Although our cashier was quite new and a bit unsure, a helpful coworker assisted her. The only small hiccup was receiving an iced latte instead of a hot one. It's not a huge issue, but it was a bit disappointing.

I really appreciated the roaster at the front of the restaurant; it definitely adds to the ambiance and shows they put in effort. However, the food and coffee didn't quite live up to expectations. The coffee of the day was weak, the gravy was thin, and the biscuits were a bit overcooked and could have used a trim on the bottoms. It might just have been an off day, so I’m willing to give it another try.

I called ahead to place a last-minute order just 15 minutes before closing time. I let them know I could arrive moments before they closed, and they were still happy to prepare some delicious food for my two sons and me. Everything was fresh and tasted great, and the order was exactly right. The cashier at the pickup window was friendly and smiled, even though I showed up right at closing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us!

Awesome, friendly staff. Great food, great atmosphere! The apple and blueberry fritters are the best.
