Bidra med feedbackThis is a small cozy place with a creative take on Japanese cuisine. Loved the floor type seating tables and the service was quick and helpful. We were all vegetarians and we loved everything we tried here: Mushroom tempura: Tasted amazing. Contrary to tempura I 've tried at some other places, this tasted great and didn 't feel oily or greasy at all. Really well made and the matcha salt and lime definitely elevated this to the next level Miso pizza: Really creative take on the Japanese tofu miso platter in the form of pizza. Would have loved for the miso/umami flavor to be a bit more dominant than the cheese, however this was still a solid 8/10. Risotto Croquette: Really good, but was missing the Japanese flavor here. All in all it was a great experience, would have loved it if they add a few more options like sushi to their menu. Also, would be really great if the claypot rice can be offered as a vegetarian option as well. Would highly recommend this place for small groups of you 're in to try something different.
Very interesting place! I like the ambiance but the food odd slightly overpriced for what it is. We got their carpaccio and clay pot. I think they charge $2 for broth for the clay pot and I highly highly recommend!
Delicious! Food and service has always been on point whenever we've gone. We have tried a wide variety of their plates and all have been pretty awesome! My wife and I go here whenever we have a chance to be kid free can spend some time enjoying the food and drink.
Came here for date night and we loved it!! Kinda expensive for the portions but we weren't that hungry anyways. The yuzu ceviche was fire. A lil spicy but yummy. The chips were house made but pretty burnt tasting : so minus 1 star. The yuzu ceviche was so so good but if the vehicle to bring it to my mouth doesn't taste good what's the point : The salmon belly was gas omg it was with a sweet soy garlic which is my favorite and the salmon belly was melt in your mouth. We also got the hamachi pesto sashimi I forgot what it was called but that was pretty good. Never thought to put those flavors together. And the clams were good but probably not worth the price. Would probably come back but if I get burnt chips again with the yuzu ceviche I'm gonna try to find the courage to ask for a new batch of non-burnt chips
Definitely worth when you are ready to pay. don?t expect large portions, but you can expect an excellent quality in food and service. Her tempura has some of the best shrimps of all time and the Udon was also elsewhere. the dry curry pot was the worst we ordered, but still well above the average. Here too they have good fish. Some if the best food is safe!
