Bidra med feedbackThe food and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. I was disappointed by the additional charge for using a credit card. Since most people prefer to pay with credit cards, restaurants should reconsider this policy. I will be looking into other dining options that do not have this fee in the future.
I cannot praise this place enough. The entire menu is gluten-free, including beer and desserts. The sandwiches were just as delicious as regular bread. Perfect for those with gluten dietary restrictions.
We were in search of a quick lunch and were craving some fries. We were extremely satisfied with what we got! We ordered a Peaked Hill and a couple of sodas. The large size was more than enough for two people, as we couldn't even finish it. The restaurant is a bit small, but there is seating both indoors and outdoors. The drinks are a bit pricey and are individually bottled. They also offer alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, and wine slushies. As for parking, the restaurant is located in downtown Mount Dora and finding close parking can be challenging, but there are several free parking lots in the surrounding area.
Fries are good, not great. Ordered truffle fries and they had no flavor. We got bits of fries more like left over fries. But the service is very good.
We had 4 adults 3 kids in our party, ages 6, 3 2. I reviewed their web site before the visit, so I knew they have a variety of dipping sauces other items meant for sharing that were decidedly NOT to go friendly. I was therefore quite surprised to find NO tables at all inside, only 2 small bistro-style tables outside. Because it was lunchtime, the heat index was over 100 and the outside tables were not an option. We made do as best we could with the wooden bar stools high counters in the cramped interior. Thankfully, the food bottled sodas were quite good, which distracted everyone enough that the lunch was not a complete bust. I would definitely recommend this sandwich shoppe for a sole diner or a couple, just not for larger parties.Kid-friendliness: This eatery is definitely NOT suited for kids, families or groups. There are NO tables inside, just wooden bar stools at high counters, 1 high chair space for 5 adults or fewer to sit together, if you get lucky. There are 2 small bistro-style tables outside, but with heat indexes of 100 our higher at lunchtime, the outside tables are not really an option.Wheelchair accessibility: No. The interior of this eatery is small and cramped. I have a small rollator and even that was a problem. Additionally, because there are no tables, just bar stools at high counters, someone sitting in a wheelchair would have to put their food on their lap or a wheelchair tray.
