Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with exceptional service from Cindy and the staff. We were visiting from Sydney and enjoyed dishes such as vegetable omelette, satay beef, chicken in oyster sauce, vegetables with bean curd, and fried rice - all delicious and generously portioned. In addition, we were pleasantly surprised with a bonus stew dish that was also delicious. We will definitely return when we are in Mudgee again. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We had a truly memorable Mother's Day 2022, even though we were far from home. Cindy warmly welcomed us with a complimentary drink in honor of the occasion. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was friendly and made us feel like VIPs. We can't recommend the Golden Dragon enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This Chinese restaurant in the heart of town is very unassuming. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond in their service. The food was incredibly tasty. They were accommodating to our vegetarian needs, even offering us dishes not listed on the menu. The portion sizes were generous, and we had to take leftovers home, which was no problem at all. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Tonight had an interesting birthday dinner thanks to the golden dragon chinese restaurant! had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food my family ordered to deliver when it should arrive in 15 minutes. the supplier became very. unpleasant after we just say we know it's not her fault. when the food finally arrived, it had been spilled and the fried mixedlings were covered in the sauce by another meal, as well as all other food containers. when we took the food back to ask for a refund or replacement, we were abused, ejected, banned and the police called us! I really don't think that will be prohibited a problem like after the shocking service and treatment, we will never go back there again! when the police checked the incident, the beamed said they won't even go there! the manager even pushed the owner out of the way he tried to apologize, and said he didn't even speak English!
