Bidra med feedbackI love this restaurant! service was great and eating was delicious. I had gyros platter with a spinat puff-tyeig (spanikopita.) prices comparable to other sit down restaurants in the environment.
Bad ingredients and a bad cook lead to bad results. Grilled meat was hard, the potatoes were overcooked and squishy. The waiter was friendly, the meal was cheap but I will never return.
I've been to this restaurant three times so far and intend to keep on visiting the place. It's a small, family run (it's my guess only Greek restaurant near the Schloss Nymphenburg. Serves excellent Greek dishes! There's nothing more I can add. Ah, the garden...is lovely : The service is lovely too.
We've been last evening for maybe 2nd. or 3rd. time in this small restaurant close to Nymphenburger Castle and we enjoyed an excellent dinner. I took a bifteki steak with rice and salad and my wife got the mixed startup with some pita bread. All...of it was delicious and even the simple potatoes for my daughter, which she refused to take as a replacement for the french fries were 10 times tastier. Anyway, we took a place on the terrace the small inner garden of the restaurant very nice and relaxing. Unfortunately there was a small rain later on that destroyed the pleasure at the end. No matter if you happen to be in the area and like to eat something small, fast and delicious from the greek cuisine, this small restaurant is definitely the place to go. Prices are also ok. There is only one small point for critics but i wouldn't take a whole point from the note for it. The guests next to us left maybe be 10 15 after our arrival and got some small desert from the house. In our case it was the obligatory ouzo, which was not really the perfect match with a 4 years old kid on the table. I bet she would be much more happy with some small sweet stuff. I do not think it was intentionally, but a mistake for sure and would reduce the note by half of a star.
Popped in on the offchance in the evening for a meal after a long day travelling to Munich and fancied Greek cuisine. This is a standard Greek taverna, complete with decor and as you would expect and does a lot of trade in take aways...and deliveries judging by the people coming in. The waitress gave us English menus and was attentive and friendly throughout our visit and even dished out some complementary Ouzo! Food is cooked in the open plan kitchen at the front of the restaurant and is freshly made. I had the meatloaf which was wonderful and light, and substantial with the rice, vegetables and side salad it came with. This was a really good and filling meal for the price, and not stodgy. Overall well recommended for an unfussy but good quality meal in the area.
