I had to wait minutes for a simple salad. In that time the staff totally ignored me. The excuse was that they were busy, but there were hardly any customers eating

It was our last evening, having spent a glorious weekend thus far. We passed this location the previous day and thought it worth a visit. On arrival you will enter a mini time trap with great setting and an ambience that sends you into a...mide of relaxation. Unfortnately what unfurled next was an episode of the wrong end of "Fawlty Towers". So much so the mind still boggles. We ordered a fine bottle of Malbec, the food is really that if a Bistro and was adequately prepared and served, all was going well, interaction, the spot was had the neighbourly table etc And Then... unexpected Chaos! We were minutes into a fine evening (last evening) When the Manageress came and requested if we could vacate the table !? Why???? Well she gad forgotten to reserve for a party of whom were now here. So???! We replied, well "As we seem approachable and nice people, do we mind vacating? Well .. Both I and my partner are not one for public scene (maybe unless I was winning Strictly Come Dancing or a Champions Lge Medal) we were Shocked, dismayed, disappointed. The one final consolation goes to the Chef who totally went to great extent of apology. Fair play to him but would i return or recommend At Your Peril

My friend told me that it is a place where I could eat a really good, real Italian carbonara. the pasta is in the did happy without cream (continuous to many other places), but it was not good carbonara at all: I am not sure whether it was a bad day for cooking (further reviews read eggs) but: 1. speck is not a proper type of meat for carbonara, especially because it was much too roasted 2. pasta was again cooked without salt and overcooked 3. In summary, I am not sure whether I come back to what I find regrettable, as the place itself is really charming and cozy.

I noticed meeting some friends here, our expectations were not high. it was great. really friendly staff, great selection of cheap weeping (from the bottle and from the glass.) I had a really excellent burger and my friends were all happy. with her dinner. it is not a huge menu, but none of us had a less than great meal. great location too, plus sitting outside!

We stay close by with an airbnb and have eaten here twice with our three children. Despite more of an adult site, the employees were more than the reception of our brut, so smaller drinking of pasta and moving seats for...us eating is delicious- we had the bolognaise, the cabonara, and both the salmon pasta and salat are delicious and elegant served with a lot of Parmesan cheese. the wine and beer lists are extensive. highly recommended!
